I haven't posted pictures of Brix, our now 8.5-month old puppy, for awhile, so I thought I would interrupt the gardening news with a few cute dog photos.
Hanging out in the yard. (Note the significant lack of grass in our lawn . . . . And this is one of the "nicer" areas!)
Keeping track of life on the pond. Windows at dog level means never having clean windows.
Playing with the Kong. Why is it that it's so much more intriguing to play on the furniture?
A brief moment of calm before the toys come back out again.
Good doggie!
My patio doors are covered with nose marks too. What's a mother to do?

RuthieJ: There's nothing to be done. The moment the windows are clean, a nose appears, ready to check out the squirrels!

That's a whole lot of puppy!

Kris: He's a cutie, when he's not getting into things!
Carol: He's big - about 55 pounds now - but he probably won't be as big as we thought when we got him (we were thinking about 75 pounds).

Brix is adorable... and lucky him, to have windows at dog level! :)

Kim: I know for a fact that Brix doesn't know how lucky he is!
