Maybe it's clustered bellflower/Campanula glomerata? With those daylily leaves it does resemble some exotic bulb, Tracy~

The vegetable garden looks great and you put ours to shame with your extremely neat photo. It's just so wet and buggy here that I can't keep up. Enjoy your zucchini year, and get 'em while they're little!

How weird!!! Al sent me the flower pic last week. If Glomerata is in blooom right now, it make sense folks would have it on the brain. Your photos is waaaaay better. I wonder what kind of digital technology they use in the Iron Range...
