Oooh, thanks for that link! Another place to hear gardening opinions, I love it!

Bummer about the potato error, I've already ordered the Rose Apple Finn. My yield was low last year, but I attributed it to the wet start, as my Carola yield was also low.

How awesome to have your opinion voiced to an authority like Cornell!
Good for you!

Ali: I'm sorry if I gave you bad information. If it's any consolation, I'm going to go Rose Finn Apple and French Fingerling again this year - I now have a seed of doubt in my mind and I'm not sure I know for sure which was which anymore. That's okay, they're both great-tasting. That's interesting to know on Carola, because I was thinking of ordering it, too.

Sissy: You can follow the link and give your opinion to Cornell, too!

I took the time to visit the Vegetable Varieties for Gardeners blog and it is good. Thanks for the link... but I still much prefer yours!

Hey Tracy,

Sorry to mislead you, we do have snow in Maine, but not much, only about 6 inches here in the mid-coast, and lately, it's been too cold to snow, brr!

As for potatoes, we'll have to compare notes this year. If you have room, I loved the Carolas.

Zebra: Well, thank you very much - I appreciate it. And thanks for visiting!

Ali: Thanks for letting me know. I was thinking that I needed to move to Maine for warmer weather! On the potatoes, I think I'm just going to order the two fingerling varieties this year - I tried three varieties last year and didn't get enough of any of them. I'm already taking suggestions for 2008, though, when I will have the fingerling confusion figured out and will have room for a different second variety.
