Christmas is almost here, and although I'm not done with everything, at least some of my gifts were prepared early. I put up lots of jam this year so that I could give them as gifts (various strawberries, various blueberries, and plum).
Now, here they are, all ready for the gift-giving season. Of course, as soon as I put them under the tree, Dexter had to come over. He has the need to smell every package. I just wonder what he's looking for?
Just stopped in from Carol's May Dreams Garden! Love your blog! Blessings to Baby Henry. I wonder what kind of plum tree you made your jam from?? I am in Zone 5 and would love to plant 5-10 stone fruit trees, but would like a reliable variety!!
Thanks!

Sissy - I don't know what kind of plum tree it is. They live in a house built in the 1920's, and the tree is fully mature. It could've been planted anytime in the last 25-50 years. If you're in zone 5, I don't think you should have a problem finding a good plum tree - there are lots hardy in your area. Thanks for stopping by!
