Sounds yummy, but I'll let you in on a secret. If you buy the ginger at your local co=op, natural food store, or Penzey's, (http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzeys/p-penzeyscrystallizedginger.html) it will be much less expensive!

As for the recipe,he, you had the flash of inspiration, now it is time to bask in the glory!

THANK YOU! I may have been the only one who asked, but I begged. So I do believe that I count double--maybe even triple--at least! :)

Ali: I keep meaning to do a better job of buying spices and herbs from somewhere other than the grocery store, but I never do. I get the Penzey's catalog, and there are three stores in the Cities. My laziness (or busy-ness) usually has me buying them at the last minute at the grocery. Oh well.

Kim: You definitely count triple!
